Not so common objects

Pincel drawing colored and edited in photoshop cs6. From a workshop "Drawing as a first language" We were asked to take a common object, study it and conclude three adjectives from it. Then by using those adjectives we were to make an image that would interpretate those adjectives to help us look beyond the object into a world of it's own.

The object I had was a black hair clip. From studying the object I concluded from it's shape that it was 'infinite, deep and threatening'. The instructor was impressed with the full consept and incoraged me to take it further. I learned a number a new things and will use that new knowledge to my advantage!
